A cool nip was in the air for last night’s game as the Braves hosted the Diamondbacks.  Stephen Surabian took the ball for the Diamondbacks and Jack Kamin for the Braves. Each team got the offense going early.

Top of the first for the Diamondbacks,  Jack Vanbeekom was hit by a pitch and after stealing second would score on a Michael O’Toole single.  Michael would reach second and score when Anthony Biscotti reached on an error.  Anthony would finish the scoring in their half inning on a groundout.   The 3-0 lead was short lived as the Braves would plate 5 in their half.  With one out, Jack Kamin walked and Kyle Daignault singled.  Both would score on a Colby Belanger single.  After getting in scoring position, Colby scored on a Sam Pergola single.  This was followed by a walk to Zaid Moghrabi.  Both Sam and Zaid would finish the Braves scoring on a Michael Ellerbrook double.  AFTER ONE :  Braves 5, Diamondbacks 3.

The Diamondbacks went quietly in the second but the Braves plated two more.  With one out, Jack Kamin singled and would score on a Kyle Daignault double.  Kyle would eventually score on a wild pitch.  AFTER TWO:  Braves 7, Diamondbacks 3.

In the third the Diamondbacks would score 5 to take the lead.  Jack Vanbeekom singled and scored on an Anthony Biscotti double.  After Noah Basgaard was hit by a pitch, both he and Anthony would score on a three run home run by Matt Montoya.  They would get another run after Stephen Surabian would reach after also getting hit by a pitch and score on a John O’Leary double.  The lead was again short lived as the Braves would get 4 of their own in the bottom of the inning.  Michael Ellerbrook opened the inning with a single and Chase Marsh walked.  Each would score on wild pitches.  A walk to Jake Kiefer was then followed by a one out walk to Owen Naber.  Jake and Owen would score on a Jack Kamin single.  AFTER THREE: Braves 11, Diamondbacks 8

Colby Belanger and Zaid Moghrabi kept the Diamondbacks off the score board the final three innings with Anthony Biscotti keeping the Braves quiet in their final two at-bats.  FINAL SCORE: Braves 11, Diamondbacks 8
