The home team Dodgers sent pitcher Anthony Giampapa to the mound to start the game and made quick work of the Cardinals working a popup and two strike outs around a nice base hit by Owen Parry-Cruwys.  In the bottom half of the inning the Cards had Ben Miller on the mound and he struck out the first batter he faced this season.  The Dodgers managed four runs in the inning, two of which came off the bat of Anthony Giampapa with a well struck homerun to left field.  End of the 1ST:  Dodgers 4, Cardinals 0

The Cardinals got things going in the second inning with walks to Ribhav Chand, Ben Miller and Elliot Moore.  Colin Marques came to the plate and hit a nice double to left scoring a couple of runs.  Owen Parry-Cruwys followed with a single scoring another run.  Patrick O’Toole ended the Cardinals half of the inning with a double to left field.  Owen Parry-Cruwys was pitching in relief for the Cardinals and walked Anthony Giampapa which was followed by a solid base hit by Tysan Dang. After hitting Henry Bissonnette with a pitch the bases were loaded but Owen managed to get a couple of strikeouts to end the inning. End of the 2ND:  Cardinals 5, Dodgers 4

The Cardinals kept things going in the third inning, Parker Kauffman was hit by a pitch followed by walks to Ben Miller and Elliot Moore loading the bases.  Again, Colin Marques came to plate and hit a solid single scoring a couple of more runs.  Owen Parry Cruwys followed with a single of his own scoring another run.  The Dodgers half of the inning went quickly with Owen Parry-Cruwys striking out the side.  End of the 3rd:  Cardinals 8, Dodgers 4

The Cardinals hitters kept working in the fourth inning.  After the Dodgers got a quick out to start the inning, the next four Cardinals hitters (Parker Kauffman, Ribhav Chand, Luke Macrae and Ben Miller) earned walks.  Colin Marques again delivered with the bases loaded with a base hit scoring two runs.  Jack St Pierre who was swinging away all game long finally got his payoff pitch and scorched a double to left field scoring two more runs to end the Cardinals half of the inning.  Colin Marques came on in relief for the Dodgers half of the inning and after nice plays be Colin and Patrick O’Toole to get two quick outs the Dodgers hitters started to get it going.  Henry Bissonnette walked, Tyler Bolt singled, Braydon O’Sullivan walked and Conner Lum singled resulting in two more runs scored for the Dodgers before the Cardinals got a strikeout to end the inning.  End of the 4th: Cardinals 13, Dodgers 6

Due to time limits the game ended here.

The Cardinals and the Dodgers played well, good luck to both teams on the rest of the season and into the playoffs.
