It was the Jack Wharton show as the White Sox hosted the Mariners.  Wharton was the catalyst for the White Sox as he pitched 4 1/3 innings of one run ball and was responsible for recording all of the 13 outs he was responsible for, 11 by strikeout and 2 putouts to first base.  Wharton also cracked 3 Home Runs as he kept the White Sox in the game offensively early until the White Sox opened it up in the last inning to score 4 runs as Eric Hamelin got it started and scored on Wharton’s 3rd dinger of the game.  Kyle Dodge came into the game to relieve Wharton of pitching duties and slammed the door shut as he recorded an inning and 2/3 of shutout relief.  Joe Morris, Amanda Kelmer and Cayden Maloney also had strong nights at the plate.  The Mariners were no slouches as they proved a tough opponent for the White Sox, they were lead with strong pitching performance from Desmond Nichols, Ian Taylor and Ryan Moss and offensively were lead by Taylor as he cracked a triple and scored the Mariners lone run.
