The Royals and Diamondbacks took the field under the lights at Dean Park last night in a light cold rain.  Both teams played a competitive game despite the playing conditions. The Diamondbacks, led by an 11 hit attack, were victorious 13-4.

Brendan Parisi pitched another gem for the Dbacks. He recorded 10 strikeouts through 4 innings and allowed no hits. Eddie Aloupis pitched the 5th inning and struck out 2.

The Royals sent Bryan Richardson, Max Mitchell, and Brayden Crandall to the mound. They fought hard all night and struck out 8 Dbacks collectively.

Offensively, the Dbacks banged out 11 hits and ran the bases very well. Joey Silva was an RBI machine. He went 2-2 with 2 singles, 4 RBI, BB, and 2 runs scored. Eddie Aloupis went 1-2 with a double, 3 RBI, and a BB. Brendan Parisi went 2-3 with 2 singles, 2 RBI, and scored twice. Jon Blattner (hit a towering foul ball as well) went 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 RBI. Mason “the dealer” Loughlin set the tone from the lead off position by going 1-3 with a double, 2 runs scored, and a BB. Danny Molina went 1-2 with a single, 2 runs scored, and a BB. Angad Pannu went 1-1 with a single, RBI, and scored twice. Colson Cotter went 1-1 with a single, BB, SB, and scored a run.  Despite the win, coach Joe Silva could still be heard all the way to his hometown of Peabody Tanner country.

The Royals had hits by Brady O’Connell, Jake Grenier, and Brayden Crandall.

Good luck the rest of the season.
