The second game of a back to back, home and home between the Rockies and Braves took place on Wednesday night. Ben Hartelius took the ball for his Dad’s Rockies and held the Braves scoreless through the first four innings. 

Meanwhile his Rockies scored twice in those first four frames.  In the first, Jack Alarie walked and get into scoring position on a wild pitch.  With one out, Ben Hartelius helped out his own cause by singling Jack in.  In the third, the Rockies tacked on one more after Dylan Guelcher reached on a strikeout.  He would reach second on a wild pitch and with two out score on a Hartelius triple. 

The Braves entered the top of the fifth down 2-0.  With two out, they would plate three.  Jake Kiefer walked and Owen Naber reached on an error.  Jack Kamin would plate them both on a double and score on a Kyle Daignault single. With the Braves up 3-2 in the top of the sixth, they would add another insurance run.  Colby Belanger reached with a single and move up to second on wild pitch.  He would move to third on a Zaid Moghrabi single and score on a Jake Kiefer single.  In the bottom of the sixth and down now 4-2, the Rockies tried to mount a comeback.  Zach Robillard opened the inning with a double and Logan Jolicouer was hit by a pitch.  Zach would reach third on a wild pitch and score on an error.  That same series of plays put Logan at third.  With one out, he would try to score the tying run on a wild pitch only to be called out at the plate. With two out, Joey Morana would walk and reach second but get no further.  FINAL SCORE: Braves 4, Rockies 3
