The Diamondbacks secured their sixth win of the season after a great game with the Marlins, which displayed solid pitching, hitting, and defense from both teams.

The Diamondbacks started Anthony Biscotti, who pitched 2 scoreless innings before being relieved by Michael O’Toole and Robin Oxley-Luyster.  Noah Basgaard closed out the game in the sixth.  The Marlins started Kam Zaheer, who worked hard through three innings.  Zaheer was followed by Gianni Colonero and Gavin Flynn.

The Diamondbacks’ bats were strong with all players contributing to runs and solid outings from Anthony Biscotti (3 for 4, with a double, 3 RBI, and 2 runs scored), Dan Reilly (3 for 4, with 3 RBI, a 1 run scored), Steven Surabian (3 for 4, with a triple, 1 RBI, and 3 runs scored), Jack VanBeekom (2 for 3, with 2 RBI, and 3 runs scored), Noah Basgaard (2 for 4, with a double, 2 RBI and 1 run scored), Matt Montoya (2 for 4, with 1 RBI, and 2 runs scored), Michael O’Toole (1 for 2, with 1 RBI, and 3 runs scored), Robin Oxley-Luyster (2 for 2, with a double, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored), Dominic Biscotti (1 RBI, and 2 runs scored), and Noah Johnston (1 run scored).
