In a battle of the southern California teams, the Dodgers visited the Padres. The Padres started Brody Sheard on the mound and he started off firing hard and had a quick inning with an out back to the mound and two strike outs. The Dodgers sent ace Tysan Dang to the mound. Tysan got the first batter on a hit back to him and an easy throw to first. Then the Padres got a few walks and with good base running, Angelo McNamara scored to put the Padres up 1-0. Tysan then got the next two batters on Ks. Brody Sheard started off the second very strong with two K's then a hard single by Andrew Senior, followed by walks and Andrew scored to tie it up before the Padres recorded one more K. Tysan came out firing in the second with 3 strike outs. End of 2; 1-1 game.

In the top of the 3rd, the Padres sent Angelo McNamara to the mound. The Dodgers started off with walks to load the bases, followed by a 3 RBI double by Tysan Dang. Then after 2 walks, Tom Senior singled in a run and a run scored on a walk to end the inning.Tysan came out in the 3rd and had another 3 K inning. In the 4th, the Padres sent Jadon Dumon to the mound, The Dodgers started with a few hard fought walks and then another 2 RBI double from Tysan Dang. With some good base runing and on tough walks the Dodgers scored 3 more to end the inning. In the bottom of the 4th, the Padres started strong with a hard triple by Cam Kelly, followed by singles from Sota Matsuda and Jackson Morgan to score two runs. Tysan settled in and got two more Ks followed by a run scoring single from Jack Costa and finally a K to end the inning. End of 4; Dodgers 11, Padres 3.

In the 5th, the Padres send Adam Trani to the mound who after a single from Anothiny Giampapa got a 3 straight outs including two Ks. The Dodgers sent Chris D'Antilio to the mound and then Anthony Giampapa to close it but not before the Padres scored 3 more runs on walks and good base running. Final score Dodgers 11, Padres 6.
