As the regular season comes to a conclusion, the Indians and Diamondbacks were trying to solidify their playoff seeding.  Both teams came to play on Thursday night.  The Dbacks ended up taking this one by a score of 8-2.

Brendan Parisi turned in another stellar performance.  Parisi pitched 4 2/3 innings of 11 strikeout, no hit baseball.  Eddie Aloupis relieved Parisi in the bottom of the 4th due to reaching maximum pitch count and got the Dbacks out of a bases loaded jam by striking out a batter to end the top of the 4th inning.  Angad Pannu pitched the 5th inning and once again helped the Dbacks close out a game by striking out 2 Indians.

The Indians pitching staff was led by Charlie Kent, Sohan Pasupuleti, Torin Narva, and Ryan White.  They gave everything they had against the Diamondbacks.  Collectively, they registered 13 strikeouts.
Offensively, the Dbacks picked up a team effort.  Brendan Parisi was perfect at the plate.  He went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, 2 RBI, and 2 SB.  Jon Blattner hit a base clearing double, 3 RBI, BB, and a run scored.  Joey Silva went 1-2 with a single, BB, run scored, and SB.  Eddie Aloupis went 1-3 with a single and RBI.  Angad Pannu had a double and a run scored.  Danny Molina went 1-3 with a single, run scored, and SB.  Mason Loughlin went 1-3 with a single, run scored and RBI.  Colson Cotter was a gazelle on the basepaths and had 2BB and 2 runs scored.

The Indians were led by:  Charlie King who ripped a single and knocked in a run.  Charlie Kent reached base safely and scored a run.  Torin Narva got on base twice and scored a run.  Sohan Pasupuleti, Jackson Chamberlain, and Jack Auen all reached base as well.

Coach Joe Silva of the Dbacks had his patented windmill action as base coach in full effect.  Last week he lost half of his fingernails and this week he lost the rest due to the suspense of the game.

Good luck in the playoffs to both teams!
