The White Sox scored two runs in the 1st inning on 3 hits staring with a leadoff single by Jack Wharton, followed by an RBI double by Kyle Dodge, and a RBI single by Joe Morris.  George Kosheff pitched for the Royals getting all 3 outs by strikeout to end the 1st.  Joe Morris took the mound for the White Sox and with some help from 1st basemen Amanda Kelmer kept the Royals scoreless in the first.
George Kosheff came back strong in the second inning striking 3 Sox batters.  Brayden Crandall lead off with a single followed by a few walks and a George Kosheff base hit the Royals were able to score 3 runs.  At the end of 2 innings score was 3 to 2 Royals.
White Sox bats remained hot with a leadoff single from Kyle Dodge followed by a crushed double from Joe Morris scoring Kyle.  Ben Guglietta followed that up with a single to score Joe.  Royal’s pitcher TJ Hutt cooled off the White Sox bats to get out of a bases loaded jam by striking out the last two batters.  Royals batter Will Keddy started things by getting hit by a pitch and then a string of base hits from Bryan Richardson, Brady O’Connell, George Kosheff, Jackson Mitchell, and Brayden Crandall.  Making the score 8 to 4 Royals.
Royal’s pitchers TJ Hutt and Max Mitchell were able to keep the White Sox scoreless the final two innings with TJ striking out 2 and Max 3.  Good luck to both teams in the playoffs which start this week.
